Overall, I have been very pleased with the cost, amount of storage, ease of use, and overall experience of iDrive.

IDrive was straightforward to deploy to multiple types of devices and has provided reliable cloud backup. I appreciate the option to deploy a backup client on a NAS device to streamline backups, in addition to the desktop client. The web client is easy to navigate to see status of backup activities. The annual backup subscription is quite affordable for the amount of space available.

I have been using Carbonite for years but felt their cost for adding another PC was very high. I shopped around and discovered iDrive. It's easier to use and install. The price is based on amount of data, not number of PCs. I really like the notifications the next morning after backup. Very happy so far.

I've worked with a variety of competitors over the years. The iDrive interface won't win awards for innovative design, but it is clear, simple and effective. The controls also make it easy to monitor the size of your backup so that you don't accidentally get a pesky overcharge.
