I get an email daily about the status and if there ever is a problem, I know right away. I also really like that it keeps my backup even if I take something off of my hard drive, which isn't something all of these cloud services do.

Crashplan worked in the background without slowing down my computer. It works without you having to do anything once it is set up so you don't forget to do the backups. You can backup to the cloud as well as a local drive.
