Modshield SB is a web application firewall (WAF) designed to help organizations monitor traffic and protect hosting infrastructure and applications from unauthorized access and credential stuffing attacks. Features include bot/crawler protection, compliance metrics, health checks, raw logs, geo IP feeds, and DoS protection. The application enables IT administrators to create multiple custom rules for detecting and mitigating a variety of threats, such as broken authentication, sensitive data exposure, security misconfiguration, deserialization, and more. With its IP reputation-based filters, network engineers can identify and reject requests from suspicious IP addresses. It provides a built-in load balancer, which IT professionals can use across multiple domains in various modes. Engineers can create country-specific IP blacklist/whitelist and filter the traffic based on firewall policies and configured reputation levels.
